Sample Smarter with Groups
We’re thrilled to tell you about the new Sample Groups capability in Savant’s Sample tool!
With this enhancement, you can now sample not just from your dataset as a whole but within distinct groups in your data. Let's say you need to randomly pick 10 customers from each state. Simply set your Random 10 Rows strategy like normal, but then add the add "State" for sample grouping—and let Savant work its magic.

Sample Just the Top Rows
Our new and improved Sample tool also now supports "First N Rows" sampling! This means you can grab a specified number of rows right from the top of any dataset – perfect for when you only need a peek at the latest entries or want to pull specific data from an Excel file without any fuss.
With First N Rows, Random N, 1 Row per N, and N Percent of Rows, you've got an arsenal of sampling methods that make data slicing a two-click task.
