Requirements
A Smartsheet account with Business or Enterprise plan.
API access enabled with a Personal Access Token (37-character key).
Setup
You can connect to Smartsheet using a Personal Access Token (API Key) to integrate your data with Savant.
Step 1 - Generate Personal Access Token in Smartsheet
Log in to Smartsheet with an account that has appropriate permissions.
From the left navigation bar, go to Account.
Click Apps & Integrations.
Navigate to the API Access tab.
Select Generate new access token. Important: Copy and store this token safely, as it will not be shown again in your account settings.
Optionally, revoke any existing tokens in the same tab if needed.
Step 2 - Complete Savant Configuration
Enter the Personal Access Token from Step 1.
Select Authenticate.
Troubleshooting
Invalid Token Error: Ensure the token was copied correctly and hasn't expired.
Rate Limits: API calls may be limited to 1,000 requests per day depending on your account's rate limit. If you exceed your API call limits, you may need to wait before making additional requests.
