This connector enables users to configure Anthropic (Claude) as an AI provider system in Savant. It is intended for use with LLM-based services or other AI-related features and cannot be used as a source or destination system.

Requirements
To successfully configure the Anthropic connector in Savant, users must have:
Access to an Anthropic account on the Claude Developer Platform
Permission to create API keys in the workspace you plan to use
Anthropic Setup
Step 1: Obtain API Key
Click Create key, then choose Continue with an API key.
Give the key a Name.
Set the Expires date.
Optionally update Linked account and Scope for attribution and reporting.
Click Create key and copy the API key for use in Savant. The key is only shown once, so save it before closing the dialog.
Step 2: Create Provider in Savant
Navigate to the Systems page in Savant.
Click Add System and select the Anthropic connector.
Enter the API key in the required field.
Click Authenticate, then Confirm.
Troubleshooting
Double-check that you've copied the correct API key and that it hasn't expired or been revoked so that you don't get authentication errors.
Keys are tied to a workspace and to a linked account. If the linked teammate leaves the organization, the key is deactivated and must be replaced.
If you set an expiration date, note it — authentication will begin failing once the key expires, and a new key must be created and re-entered in Savant.
Confirm the key was created in the workspace you intend to use, since a key only works within its own workspace.
Responses are cached for 10 days. If you expect a fresh response, try modifying the prompt slightly.
